Unaided schools have played very important roles in shaping education for children who do not get access to good and competitive education. Most important feature of this is the freedom from usual beareucracy. The latest fiasco in this is the State Government's denial to permit english medium education in these schools. The Judiciary should view this case from the infringement of fundamental rights point of view. To educate children in any medium is parents' prerogative and they should have choice to opt for any language as medium of instruction.
